Thousand liters of tea and a survey of businesswomen In Mauritania, a group of women entrepreneurs has emerged in the second half of the twentieth century, businesswomen who trade internationally. From different social backgrounds, they all have established itself in this universe marked mainly by men. Celine Lesourd retraces routes ascension of these great ladies and reveals the progress of his research at the heart of the jet set Mauritania. Interviews, and analysis elements comical memories intertwine to reconstruct the unvarnished reality of what anthropologists call the mysterious "land". Celine Lesourd is an anthropologist and currently teaches in Niger. This book is the result of research she conducted for 6 years in Mauritania.
