"The colors of childhood are delicate because they stain a lifetime."
Jean Guehenno

These images were made in connection with visits to Indian NGOs supported by Aide et Action Association.
Their actions are carried out with the most disadvantaged and marginalized people.
The team of Aide et Action India agrees with NGO partners in defending the right to education for all.

Thus, in 2002 more than 100,000 children were affected by the actions of Aide et Action and its partners to ensure that children in villages, slums, workers, women, disabled people, they all have access to quality education and appropriate.

In the world 115 million children lack access to primary school. The reasons are varied, girls are often the most excluded, field work, keep the smaller, working in the manufacture of beedi, debt slaves, marginalized because they are sick .... As stated in Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, "everyone has the right to education."
School children can learn skills and information they need to protect themselves against exploitation, such as child labor.
During my stay in India to meet with local NGOs supported by Aide et Action, I wanted to show images of what is actually in the field by establishing schools to communities and children most disadvantaged. With this photographic approach I wanted to show how basic education is often the only recourse to justice for the most disadvantaged communities. These NGOs support the idea of Mahatma Gandhi, an education for all to protect them, prepare them to defend themselves in a country that brings together many complex societies, and who still lives in the hierarchy of the caste system, supporting the inequality and discrimination. The school is a real opportunity to express themselves and develop their personalities, they have a chance to flourish. In addition the implications beyond the school are many. The first years of a being are critical to all existence. Education can be opened to other cultures, understanding. Fight against exclusion from school.Promoting access to primary school, accompany them in their school curriculum, ensuring that children get a good start in life, this is the role of associations and NGOs who are doing exemplary the key to the children of a fulfilling life.
